For some, the decision to begin therapy is a difficult one. Whether you've been in therapy before, or this is your first time, I am committed to providing all of my clients with a safe and comfortable environment in which they can express themselves.
Therapy is a process of reflecting on the past, staying mindful and grounded in the present, and planning for the future. As a strength-based therapist, I collaborate with my clients to identify strengths, and use them to complement and minimize weaknesses, while increasing one's capacity for insight.
While using a combination of theoretical orientations, I am primarily a Solution Focused and Cognitive Behavioral Therapist. Every client is seen as an individual, and my approach to therapy is specifically tailored to meet each client's needs.
